vacation from my vacation
you know how sometimes you need a vacation from your vacation? I kind of feel like I need that!
Matt and I had SO much fun on Sunday and Monday going through Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma. SO much fun. I am looking forward to showing you pictures!
Also, we have squeezed in FAR too much during our time in Tulsa--Chimi's, Webers, Crispy Croissant (on Brookside where my brother's friends work) and tonight, LOS CABOS with approximately a bajillion people. Approximately.
And right now I am inside still experiencing sweaty sweaty sweat in all the awkward places. Y'know, when you work really really hard? And the trickles go uncomfy places? Yeah, that. ew.
My mom's garage was a mess. Some of it was my stuff, some of it was her stuff, some of it was stuff that we're not really sure why it was in there in the first place. So, I'd promised my mom that this trip I'd go through my things.
Matt is, as you know, a trooper, so of course he was by my side helping (and lifting and being wonderful) the entire time.
And, well, it's MUCH better now. There's still all sorts of crap in there, but it's improved. And here for your viewing pleasure is everything strewn across the lawn before we packed it back in. People kept thinking we were having a yard sale! When a dude inquired about a broken chair and I told him he could have it, he thought he'd won the jackpot and then started asking if I needed the chair copied--because he could copy furniture. yikes.
Also, I found something I LOVED. I modge-podged it when I was seventeen. Unfortch I had to get rid of it--yes, it is awesome, and yes I worked hard on it. I made it all by myself--it's done on ALL sides! I took it to girl scout camp, too. As a matter of fact I think I stayed up until like 1 finishing it the night before camp so I could take it. I would love to keep it, BUT I have exactly nowhere to take it, so off to Mr. Dump it goes. But not before I took some pics. :)
time to shower and see quite a few of you wonderful readers in person! YAY!

I had a similar trunk from when I went to girl scout camp too. I was very sad to give it up as well.
