I mean, if that's the case then I should just make out with my cats--they HAVE to spend time with me...they depend on me for food!
-me. in a fit of despair. fit. of. despair. with a side of grr.
right. in order to avoid pulling out any more of my hair or doing any more damage to my jaw by clenching it, I shall be moving on. so, anyway.
so, the limited? their drew pants are pretty awesome, but I sure wish I could tell you the color of the ones I'm wearing. marla was wonderful and went shopping with me last night, and I bought two pairs of pants and a pair of jeans, which she told me were immensely flattering though I was not convinced. I'm going to try them on again. Anyway these $30 pants are dark gray. and dark brown. and olive green. depending on the light. I figure all of those colors go with white, light blue, cream and the like, right? As long as I can wear them with 3-4 of my shirts it means they're versatile enough, I think. And I might get away with pink.
In any case they are comfy and cute and look very nice AND they're junk-in-the-trunk friendly. which, by the way was a bit of a pun, if you think about it. ;)
I think I might buy some more of the drew pants in my size on ebay. I'm a little skeptical, but I think it will be okay. I mean, I'll wash 'em and I'm good to go, I think. It's not much different than buying from goodwill, right?
And an aside--what is up with giving pants for women boy names? I mean, Banana has Martin and Ryan pants, and then the ones I'm wearing are Drew. You can argue that Ryan and Drew are unisex, I suppose, though I think they're both traditionally male. Martin though???
Also, did you know that the white house pool has a solar array? Solar panels are so so so cool. Er, um, hot? All the kids are getting them. You should too. In like five years. K? Solar arrays are good too. I am seriously looking forward to opting to get this kind of stuff in my future home.
I found out today that I will also be working on an electric utility project to occupy my time that is not taken up by refineries stuff. I am STOKED. It's something about mercury emissions from coal-fired power plants, I'll get the skinny in a couple of weeks or more. But so between that and the refinery industry, I'm contributing to regulations for two of the most polluting industries.
I think I'll just adjust my halo and shine my gold star now, thankyouverymuch. :)

I buy pants off of ebay ALL THE TIME. It's the only way I can afford designer jeans. I know, I am shallow. They are just so LONG, I am addicted. Just make sure to get ones that are "new with tags" or "new without tags." I figure NWOT means they've probably been worn, but not enough where you can tell. Wash and go, girl!
