but tonight I'm on my way...

-ben kweller.

to--you guessed it--virginia. to paul's deli for a party and then to mathews to hang with the brothers foster. it should be fun. i'm not excited because we'll be traveling 4 of the next 5 weekends, but it should still be fun.

i had a bit of a super frightening flashback the other day. my friend charlie was telling otto and me about this cool bar in boston, ma, and it just so happened that it was bukowski's tavern, where scary too-hard-too-fast guy from last dec-feb hangs out. shudder.

double shudder.

so, weekend of travel, here i come. i'm tempted to bring some paints and paint if I get bored. perhaps I shall. knitting and crocheting are fun for the car, but not for when you're sitting around. they don't entertain me, they just keep me busy.

ooh, and if you're a girl, read the poisonwood bible. so so so good.

I loved the poisonwood bible. Untill the last 200 pages or so. I really wish she'd edited that a bit. I'm just curious what you think?

well, I was glad to know what the girls all ended up doing, but it was a bit over-the-top. like, all of the political mumbo jumbo, along with the opinions of rachel could have been removed and the book would have been just as good.

i liked hearing about the okapi she received, though, and i liked adah's change.

can't say tooo much since others might read. (hint, hint!)
