we might be getting this couch soon. it's three years old and it's sage green, not khaki. and seeing as how we currently have this couch, it will be an improvement. 'cause, y'know, otto is six-foot-six, and we own a loveseat. and the matching-ish chair is awful small.

i can't get too excited about it though, because craigslist stuff often gets bought by someone else. (ps, if you don't know what craigslist is check it out--very neato, methinks) but this sounds promising. it's not ideal, but it will mean that we can save more for a couch instead of trying to finance it.

i am getting really, really excited about going to new orleans in two weeks and two days. really, really, really. chris and ariel's wedding is going to be sososososososo much fun. plus it's in new orleans and we'll be going to oak alley!!! now all I have to do is find some shoes to wear...

this weekend was good. slept a lot. played texas hold 'em and drank mojitos, and lost $5 to jake. they were stiff--but much much better once the ice melted. molly didn't want much sugar. and we washed, waxed and detailed otto's ruby. it was nice to spend some time outside. oh, and heard that dirty deeds, done dirt cheap song on the radio. cracks. me. up.

sorry this isn't an exciting post. sometimes they aren't. ooh, so have a fun word...
