well, that was the most well-timed accidental pause, um, ever.

~said by yours truly to matt, who was trying to be funny by saying "so, she wants lots of cocks in her, uh, kitchen?" referring, by the way, to a napkin holder that I thought a friend would like because it had a rooster on it. random, but it was pretty adorable.

matt and I went to the fair on friday, and it was wooooooonderful. we had such a good time. and we supported united methodist churches by eating at their booths, and that made me happy.

I'm not positive I can remember everything we split, but here's what I can recall: a cheeseburger, a corndog, abbq sandwich, chicken on a stick, roasted corn, soda, lemonade, a funnel cake and cotton candy. and we rode the ferris wheel and this crazy spin-ee thing, too. and it was surprisingly not crowded, too!

yesterday was a baby shower, errands and then dinner and superbad with patty and darren. the movie was rather hilarious in parts, I must say, but it was definitely crude, too! totally worth the laughs...

and then today was church, a nap, errands, a visit to the suuuper sale at old navy and youth group. I'm excited to be volunteering but it seems like things are going to keep getting busier...but at least it looks like it'll be fun things!
