i had a dream last night...
but it did NOT fit me like a glove.
truth be told it was a pretty strange dream.
this one's for all you edison-ites out there.
so, I'm in the prefab at EMS, and I'm there with Jonathan Tanner and Melissa Hyatt and I'm not sure who else. Except we're all roughly the age we are now, though everything is futuristic. We're still in those damn wooden desks, but the chalkboard is a touchscreen and Sterling walks in and tells us to google it (what I don't know) and pulls out this thing that looks like a combination of a telescope, an umbrella and one of those extend-your-reach grabber thingies, with a little screen on the front that folds out and shows us the answer. It's about a eight inches long, this thing is. Apparently it's pretty common, and you can talk to it and it looks stuff up. I dunno.
And we're in Mrs. Butt's class (poor woman, by the way. her name was anita. as in "i need a butt" s. and her husband's name was don. they got all clever-ee and named their daughter donita. as in "don't need a butt" s. she was mean and difficult and kind of scary, this teacher was). Mrs. Butts hasn't aged a day, she's just become meaner. And she tells us to study or we'll never get in. To what, I don't know.
This prefab room opens up into this HUGE common area, and the four of us go sit out there. We see Eddie and Whitney Flinchum and Katie Vesely and some other people a few tables down, but don't talk to them because we have to study. There was something about our Biokinetics test (is that even a thing?) being moved to Friday instead of the following Monday, and we had four tests already that day, so we were freaked. And it was Thursday. Yikes.
So, we go to take the tests the next day after studying all night, and all we do is put our hand up to a touch screen and leave the room. The screen checked our heads to see if we knew it or not. I'm not sure who all passed. The end.

Wow. That's pretty weird. I had Mrs. Butts the last year she taught, and she was okay in a strange and difficult to tolerate kind of way. I liked her mostly.
